Azerbaijani Lamb Stew & Homemade Bread

Azerbaijani stew of lamb, chickpeas, potato, sour plums, onion and saffron. Served with homemade tendir bread topped with aniseeds, and a salad of griddled courgette, parsley, dill, mint, toasted almonds, pomegranate seeds, salt and pomegranate molasses.
